Bamboo, first popularized as flooring, is emerging now in furniture as an alternative to wood. And a beautiful alternative it is!  This is natural bamboo, but it's available as  amber or carmelized bamboo as well.

The wall bed disguised as an armoire is not an original idea -- if you look around the web --  but we think our two-door design does it better than most.  In fact, it's our favorite of all our designs.

Someone asked us if we offered a No Frills wall bed design.  The name stuck and this is the bed --  popular not just for its affordable price, but for its clean, unadorned contemporary style.  We are especially satisfied with its recessed "finger slot" that affords easy opening of the bed.

Our wall beds with flanking side bookcases are very popular.  More than just as bookcases, they can be customized to include pull-out, fold-out night stands and additional drawers (shown here) or with lower doors.

This is an example of our horizontal or "side"

bed, a bed that opens much like a daybed instead of like a conventional bed.  Of course, the doors and drawers are "faux" but you may agree the look is pleasing. The side bed is a great answer to a room with a low ceiling or a narrow room because it projects fewer feet into the room when open.

The side unit with this bed is, as you can see,  the same depth as the bed, a difference from our usual flanking bookcases that recess four inches and abut the bed six inches lower. The open space at center is a nice option, too.

Here's a Craftsman version of our wall bed made with both natural and amber bamboo.  Of course we all know bamboos is not a wood  -- but our buyers thought this was a smart choice..  It's beautiful and they love that they are helping save our forests!
